The journey to sonic healing...

I spent years in corporate America while also navigating the demands of motherhood, and I know firsthand what chronic stress looks like. Over time, I became overstimulated, overwhelmed, and mentally exhausted. My nervous system never fully shut off, and even when I tried to rest, my mind stayed on.

 

I explored meditation as a solution, but like many busy professionals, I struggled to reach the calm state meditation promised. That’s when I discovered sound therapy.

 

Sound therapy was the first practice that consistently helped me access deep meditative states; the kind associated with nervous system regulation, mental clarity, and restoration. It became the foundation of my personal transformation, and eventually, my professional work.

 

Today, I offer Sonic Therapy sessions for organizations and private individuals looking to support wellbeing, reduce burnout, and build sustainable resilience through guided sound and meditation experiences.

I didn’t discover sound therapy because life was peaceful; I discovered it because life was demanding.

Before I became a mother, I spent years working as a consultant in corporate America. I understood the pressure of deadlines, high performance expectations, constant problem-solving, and the mental load that follows you home long after the workday ends.

 

Over time, I experienced what so many professionals experience: burnout, chronic stress, and a nervous system that never fully shut off.

When I became a mom, that pressure didn’t disappear… it multiplied!

I was balancing motherhood with the realities of work, and I found myself overstimulated, overwhelmed, and constantly “on.” I began searching for practices that could help calm my mind and create real clarity. I tried meditation, but like many high-achieving people, I struggled to reach the deep, restorative state everyone talked about.

Sound therapy was the first thing that changed that.

FOR THE FIRST TIME

sound therapy allowed me to enter a deep meditative state where the body softens, the mind quiets, and the nervous system finally feels safe enough to rest.

After leaving corporate life and experiencing the demands of motherhood, I developed a deeper understanding of the stress and responsibility so many people carry. Today, through Sonic Thrpy, I bring sound bath and guided meditation experiences into corporate spaces to help individuals and teams release tension, regain clarity, and reset from the inside out, because high performance without restoration is not sustainable and calm is a strategy.

A sound bath is a guided experience designed to help the nervous system shift from stress into restoration. Participants sit or lie comfortably while instruments such as crystal singing bowls, metal bowls, and chimes are played in intentional sequences, giving the mind something steady to follow. Instead of trying to clear the mind like traditional meditation, participants simply listen, allowing the body to relax and mental noise to settle. Through Sonic Thrpy, these sessions provide accessible, discussion-free resets for corporate teams and organizations seeking greater calm, clarity, and sustainable performance.

Through guided relaxation, breath awareness, and focused attention, the nervous system shifts out of stress and into a restorative state, allowing the body to release tension and the mind to regain clarity. Accessible to beginners and experienced meditators alike, the practice simply invites participants to listen and rest, and at Sonic Thrpy it is often paired with sound therapy to deepen relaxation and support a full nervous system reset.
